This all started with the MEES 2018
MEES is a grass-roots initiative developed in partnership with several different laboratories which aims to unify research groups working in ecology and evolution at a university level throughout Quebec. The first edition was meant to be an informal conference that involved a combination of short talks and group discussions. It was a great success, which made us want to repeat the experience. However, this year we want to expand the impact and extend to further labs that did not have the chance to attend the previous edition. |
Major Goal
Our goal is to offer to students and professors a chance to share about their respective ongoing Eco-Evolutionary related projects. The Symposium is a unique opportunity for Eco-Evo aspirants and experts to come together and discuss about different aspects of this emerging field of research. It is also the perfect time to built your Eco-Evo network of people working on topics related to yours or that you have always dreamed of working on, all in a casual atmosphere conducive to exchange of knowledge and to build relationships.
